Jeju is an extremely verdant and beautiful island off the coast of South Korea. Popular with honeymooners, the island has a temperate climate, frequent rainfall and a fertile black volcanic soil – the perfect conditions for growing excellent tea!
Harvested in June, (the third harvest of the year), the curly, twisted leaves of this traditionally made “Joongjak” tea unfurl to yield a smooth and refreshing, light-bodied infusion with savoury, vegetal and slightly fruity notes. This tea is great value, and very popular with our customers as a tea to drink every day.
