Jeju Joongjak Green Tea is one of two teas we are proud to have in our selection from South Korea
Jeju is an extremely verdant and beautiful island off the coast of South Korea. Popular with honeymooners, the island has a temperate climate, frequent rainfall and a fertile black volcanic soil – the perfect conditions for growing excellent tea!
Harvested in June, (the third harvest of the year), the curly, twisted leaves of this traditionally made “Jeju Joongjak Green Tea tea unfurl to yield a smooth and refreshing, light-bodied infusion with savoury, vegetal and slightly fruity notes.
