Senchas are usually blends but for this exceptionally good Fukamushi Sencha from the April harvest the Morimotos have used just one cultivar – Oku Yutaka. The choice of cultivar and choosing deep steaming (Fukamushi) results in a deeply intensive green, flavoursome tea full of umami. Produced in a completely natural environment, this is a wonderful tea for those who like full on flavour – one to savour over several infusions.
