One of the challenges of Covid-19 is not being able to travel to tea growing countries to buy our teas directly. We are lucky however to have a network of experts, including Samir in Kolkata, who have helped us with our choices during this difficult time.
The taste of this tea is full-on muscatel, everything you could hope for in a good second flush Darjeeling, with hints of caramel and a slightly honey-ish aftertaste.

This tea really is a reward for whatever the day has dealt you so far – comfort in the cup. Even after a shortish, say 3 minute brew the aroma of the infusion is sweet and heavy, making it hard to wait for the tea to cool enough so you can take that first sip.
Made purely from China bush plants, this could possibly be the best, or at least the most characteristic and typical, 2nd flush Darjeeling you will ever taste. Although we were greedy and bought twice as much as we should have done we urge you to try it soon, as it is sure to sell fast.
