While Jeju Island is best known for its green teas, some tea producers are experimenting with oolong and black teas. This large leaf oolong is a real treat for lovers of more oxidized and heavily roasted teas. Made using plants from the Japanese cultivar Yabukita, the leaves were left to wither until to about 55% oxidation level, and then finished off with a with a Chinese style pan-roasting.
