This Organic Korakundah FOP (Flowery Orange Pekoe) comes from the highest tea region in the Nilgiri mountains of Southern India. Medium-bodied, it has a full and fruity taste quite different to teas from Darjeeling or Assam. Simply a nice, uncomplicated tea for any time of day.
This organically produced and fair trade tea is produced at the Korakundah estate in the Nilgiri (blue mountain) region of southern India, an estate which is surrounded by pristine streams and beautiful forests. As is typical of high quality tea from Southern India, organic Korakundah black tea offers a straightforward but brisk flavour, something between a Ceylon and an Assam.
Organic Korakundah black tea is an excellent value tea which can be enjoyed at any time of day.
