If you like the Morimoto’s “standard” Kabusecha then you will love their Organic Morimoto Tokujou Kabusecha! Harvested in late April and processed with much care, the leaves used to make this tea come from a combination of the cultivars Oku Midori and Minami Sayaka. After shading with dark nets for about two weeks before the harvest the leaves had developed an intense sweetness, lots of umami and a beautiful deep green colour. Sweet and fruity, this tea is delicious served warm or made as a cold-brew (Midzudashi).
