British teapots & teaware is typically made of fine bone china, is floral and colourful, and has a nod to the past. Wedgwood, which was founded in 1759 and is today one of Britain’s most famous luxury brands, bases many of its designs on patterns from the archives. Another famous British manufacturer of typically British teapots, teacups and saucers, cake stands etc. is Royal Albert, which in 2006 launched The Royal Albert 100 Years Collection to celebrate over a century of outstanding design and floral heritage. Each of the ten different designs in the 100 Years Collection has been inspired by popular culture and fashion specific to a particular decade in the 20^th century.
