This Sencha blend is fine example of how the Morimotos’ passion for their work leads to excellence. Extremely economical (we made five infusions of the same leaves), and equally delicious prepared with cold water (mizudashi) to make a refreshing iced tea as it served warm, this rare blend of first flush leaves from mostly Yabukita, Oku Midori and Minami Sayaka plants, interspersed with finely sorted stalks, is a wonderful example of how a light and elegant tea can be given an additional touch of sophistication by adding a simple ingredient (Kukicha).
