Description
Nepal Himalayan Hand-Rolled Tips is a delicious black tea from one of two young and successful tea gardens in the Himalayas. It comes from the garden Jun Ciyabari, which is set high in the hills around Hile in the Dhankuta district of the eastern Himalayan region of Nepal, not far from Sikkim and Darjeeling to the east, and Sagarmatha (Mount Everest) to the north.
Jun Chiyabari draws on a wide variety of plant stock to produce some exceptional teas. Established in 2001 and with only 75 hectares planted with tea, the dry leaf of this exquisite second flush tea has is elegant, beautiful and intact – a result of careful plucking and gentle hand-rolling. Taking such care in the production delivers a tea which is as rewarding to look at as it is to drink. This is a deliciously warm, nutty and fruity tea with a complex mix of aroma and taste that really delights the senses.
