What defines an Earl Grey is that it is a tea to which Bergamot flavour has been added. It’s obvious when you think about it: Just as there are different pressings and different qualities of olive oil, there are different qualities and pressings of bergamot oil. The organic, cold pressed oil used to flavour our “classic” Earl Grey comes from Calabrien in Italy and its superb quality can be tasted in the cup.
Our organic Classic Earl Grey is subtle, fragrant, refreshing and reviving: in fact this is the ideal tea to drink with a piece of cake or slice of tart. Introduced to our range of Earl Grey teas in January 2018, it is fast becoming the best-seller after our “Citrus Earl Grey”.
