We don’t sell tea bags. BUT, there’s an exception to every rule – and in our case, mizudashi (mizu = cold water, dashi = extracted liquid) pyramids that can be infused with cold water several times are it. Our favourite cold brew Japanese tea, nuttier, “heavier” and sweeter than the organic Marimo Premium Mizudashi, these pyramids with 5g of sencha and kukicha mixed with matcha are delicious.
Deliciously refreshing, slightly nutty and impressively green in the glass, these Shizuoka Mizudashi (Coldbrew) Pyramids contain a mixture of fine young leaves and Matcha. Perfect for the office or for when you are travelling, they couldn’t be easier to prepare: Simply pop a pyramid in a 0.5 litre bottle or jug, fill it up with cold water, let it infuse for just five minute and you’ll see a vivid and delicious cold green tea develop before your eyes! Good for at least three infusions (we do four and leave pyramid in for the last one), these pyramids are perfect for holidays or when you don’t have all your tea brewing equipment with you.
Excellent for making iced green tea (400-500 ml per pyramid), the tea can also be brewed with warm water, which yields an invigorating green tea over several infusions.
