When we first introduced Citrus Earl Grey in 2011 it was praised in the Stuttgarter Zeitung as the best Earl Grey outside of India and England! One of our best selling blends, we chose a combination of China and Ceylon black teas for our Citrus Earl Grey and added an extra touch of citrus flavouring to the traditional bergamot. The result is a refreshing and vibrant tea that is both relaxing and refreshing. Some of our customers drink it in the morning but we think it is perfect as an afternoon tea, especially when served with shortbread and/or scones with home-made jam and clotted cream!
Tip: If you like a smoky Earl Grey, mix 80% of this tea with 20% Lapsang Souchong.
