The Earth range is the latest innovation from Zero Japan. Unlike the traditional smooth glazed pieces, Zero Japan Earth teapots have a brown clay base with a rough glaze finish. The small irregularities in the glaze contribute to the natural, earthy look of each piece. Zero Japan Earth teapots are available in five stunning colours with matching cups.

With a special, very natural looking glaze this lovely Zero Japan earth teapot has a capacity of 450 ml. It is the perfect size for one person and is ideal for making multiple infusions.

Applying a modern twist to the long tradition of drinking tea in Japan, the Zero Japan concept applies three elements to the design of each product: elegant simplicity, function and ease of use.

Zero Japan was established in 1992. Still a small company, when we visited the factory, we were surprised at the scale of the operation: At that time they were producing more than 200,000 pieces a year with a team of just eleven!

Each teapot has removeable infuser and clip-on, clip-off stainless steel lid.
