This Sencha with added matcha is yet another wonderful example of how the Morimotos’ creativity leads to exciting and complex teas. Harvested in early June from Minami Sayaka, Oku Midori and Yabukita bushes, most of which have been shaded before the harvest, the matcha gives this tea an added depth of sweetness on the first infusion. The second and third infusions still have a hint of matcha, but the flavour is lighter – with all the sweetness one would expect from a high quality Sencha.
